My photographs convey a sense of place through formal examinations of color, texture, light, shadow, shape, and space. They depict architectural details—
small fragments of a much larger space—which sometimes go as far as being transformed into abstractions. My pictures also give importance to the overlooked,
the commonplace, and surfaces long-exposed to time and use.
