This series of work investigates the relationship between the visual and the symbolic. The objects represented become two things. It is what
it is (an abstraction of an object in reality) and also what it means (the symbolic, allegorical, or otherwise psychological reaction to its
abstraction). In other words, the visual and the symbolic are irrevocably attached; they are the heart and nervous system for each other. We
activate this unity of physical and cerebral by contemplating its meaning.
